BEST BARS IN BISHKEK, KYRGYZSTAN
1. No Name Bar
A local favorite and is located in the heart of the city. The cozy establishment has gained a reputation for its unique blend of ambiance and cocktails. Inside, you'll find a warm and inviting atmosphere, characterized by dim lighting, simple décor with tables carved in with guests' names, and a diverse clientele. They have a menu filled with classic cocktails and ones that are special to No Name Bar. They also have a few food options for light bites.
2. Inside Bar (Speakeasy)

Inside Bar is a new speakeasy cocktail bar that opened back in November 2023. They are located on the second floor and the back of the Kipish Bar.
When I visited in November, we had to register beforehand and get "approved." We would then get sent an invitation that we will have to show before we can enter the speakeasy. I remember that we had to send a specific message to an number over WhatsApp, send a few photos of ourselves, and then a few hours later I got a message saying I'd been approved and to show that message to the bouncer. The process was a bit ridiculous but they were trying to look "exclusive". However, I can see that the link has since then been removed from their Instagram profile so I think you'll just be able to go.
I loved their signature cocktail menu, consisting of around 13 different drinks with each representing a different country. For example, the cocktail from Japan had a nice green tea flavor while the one from China had a lychee taste. They have a few food items that you can order such as chicken fingers and fries. The speakeasy itself was quite small with its own DJ and it is extremely dark with red neon lights.
3. Bar 12
Bar 12 is an upscale rooftop bar located of course, on the 12th floor of a building in the city center. The interior exudes modern elegance with its stylish decor, comfortable seating, and a well-stocked bar that boasts an impressive selection of spirits and cocktails. This is also a sit-down restaurant where you can enjoy a nice meal with your drink. A perfect place for a nice date night.
