Imagine waking up with a breathtaking view of the Kyrgyz mountains, the sun gently touching the peaks with golden rays, and the cool, clean, crisp air invigorating your senses. Welcome to Sky Glamping in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, a getaway from the hustle and bustle of the capital city.
I visited Sky Glamping for my birthday in October 2022, when it newly opened. Here's my experience:

Accommodation:
Sky Glamping consists of several modern-style yurts and it acts like a luxurious tent. Each tent was equipped with a large queen-sized bed, a private bathroom, and stylish furnishings. The tent was clean, and surprisingly spacious, and a table for you to sit at and enjoy your meals. Outside, you get your own balcony with patio chairs, where you can sit and enjoy the beautiful view.
Cost:
At the time I visited, it cost 100 USD a night. By the time I wrote this blog post, they'd increased their prices to 120 USD for weekdays and 140 USD on weekends. I feel that this is overpriced, considering that there are other resorts such as Supara Chunkurchak where it has the same cost per night but is more accessible and has more accommodations.
Location:
It is set in a remote area, approximately one hour from the capital city, and far from the hustle and bustle. You'll be able to breathe in clean air and find peace, tranquility, and a jaw-dropping view of the mountains and city. When I visited, the internet connection was very slow and spotty, but I had no issues with having a cellular connection.
You can drive there or if you're like us where we don't have a vehicle, we hired a taxi to take us there.
Food:
Since I went when it first opened, it lacked accommodations such as dining options. We were responsible for bringing our own food and there was an outdoor grill that could be used. They did offer breakfast, a simple plate of two eggs, sausages, and some vegetables which they delivered right to our door. Now, they have a dedicated restaurant where their menu offers various salads, steaks, and pizza.
Things to Do:
I wouldn't recommend spending more than a day at Sky Glamping. Since it is in a remote area, there aren't many activities to do. I enjoyed star gazing in the evening, breathing in the fresh air, and playing with the dogs that were on guard at the site. Since I last visited, they've been offering horseback riding which would be a great activity to do.
Sky Glamping near Bishkek offers an unforgettable blend of adventure, luxury, and natural beauty. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway, a family adventure, or a peaceful retreat, this unique experience promises to leave you rejuvenated and inspired.
